Vote bank politics

There is something fishy going on with in the cabinet of the government of India. This is election year and no doubt that we are going to encounter many moves from there which will sound populist, the thing which we call 'vote bank politics'. We may be observing from quiet some months how the political parties like bjp, congress and other organizations like RSS have been making turmoil in Kerala going against the Supreme court's sabarimala verdict. Some have thrown bomb into the MLAs house the other day when actually 2 srilankan women could coup into the santum of the temple, supported by police. Because of this Ayodhya's Ram could breath sometime out of headlines! 

In a matter of 2-3 days cabinet had yet again passed a bill regarding giving reservation to 10% of the economically backward(as per them who earn less than 8L a year) Upper caste citizens. This was swiftly passed in Loksabha as well with nearly NO DISCUSSION and with a meagre opposition of 4 bravehearts. Well who could bear the brunt that they are against giving reservation? No one knows which scientific research or committee supported the figure 10%, 8L annual income and upper caste. We are unnecessarily wasting our tax money(well those who pay and not evade) to pay these MPs to make laws for us. Instead time and again what they do is act hooligans inside the parliament with no real business. This leaves no space to wonder how both china and India started together from 1950s and India is left behind.

Question of caste is now intertwined with class. At one hand we ask people to forget caste and on the other hand we continuously make policies that sits in people's mind reminding them their caste, their religion. BJP's shah also wanted to do yet another Rath Yatra in Bengal, somehow judiciary is saving us.

I believe we should rather start worrying with our set systems. Large portion of that blame must also lie with none other than the voters who become pet to political leaders and fell to vote bank politics. 'Accidental Prime Minister' the movie that is going to be released soon portraying congress in some shape and movie based on Modi with poster taglined with bharat mata has been in circulation now. This is mass manipulation.
