Loudspeaker is the demon

While India is vibrating with the resignation of RBI Governor, I along with my single room and windowpanes are vibrating with the gigantic sound of the demon loudspeaker since 3 days day and night, what a tragedy! This is such a cool example of the non-regulation at the local level. See, I couldn’t type as well, it is annoying, anti-peaceful. The loudspeaker can be understood as a new kind of malware that operates in human and hang the system, i.e. our mind. Our beloved supreme court has already passed a law regarding the regulation of it, saying that not more than a sound level of 75DB it should play with and that 10PM to 5AM is a no play time. 75DB because continuous engagements above this sound level could seriously harm the living being staying nearby. Besides with India’s diversity, we do not really share our celebration day. By the way, marriage is an individual thing distributing its poison equally to all the neighbors!

But India is India, and it comes with no administration. Nevertheless, we will play the loudspeaker to flaunt our full vaults to the society who already knows that we are neck deep in poverty. Old people seeking peace, stray animals and birds and especially the scholars who are trying to study but cry frustratingly already at lack of infra mercy are the worst affected. There is the solution at the bay but no sensitization. Where I live, there is a police booth at a distance of 100m. Isn’t it funny? Still, they expect us to dial 100 and bring more complexity in our already “raita” life. The simple fact is they are not held accountable and they don’t care a bit. In fact, dialing 100 is no solution at all! It must come after there is regular police patrolling and raids on such perpetrators, people will automatically be straightened and there will be “lex-rex” which says “law is the king”. The absence of regulation is bad. Moreover, people honk indefinitely even at the early morning and midnight when there is silence in the empty streets. It is becoming more amusing day by day. On one hand, the administration wants the public to not take law in their hand and on the other hand, they are sluggish in their patrolling. What kind of deadlock is it & how to tackle it? Students will come and go with their days passing by affecting their productivity, old people will go depressed, animals and birds will have to bear it in their mental health, but nothing will happen. This is the side effect of technology in the hand of the wrong people or the one who does not understand its ethos with an added sluggish layer of administration. This may be another form of the class issue because rich are not affected by this they have enough options with their treasure. The victim is the poor, middle class with the dearth of money... It seems all the fundamental rights are lying drunk somewhere at the dustbin. Some laugh, all become mad. Shrinking space and increased population has not come with new norms. We still live in old world. Thumb rule is that a place is not to be lived if it does not care about its weakest link. But where else to go? Ok rot!
