An Amitabh Bachchan Fan!

Met Mr. Don Khan at Aurangabad. Folding his hands, he was standing straight near his auto rickshaw. I found him quiet and immersed in his own thoughts as I approached him from a distance.

Tall and neatly dressed, he spoke most sublimely the rates of the destination to drop me off. I couldn't have bargained it, as it was so nicely spoken. He was a calm man. I agreed and hopped on the three Wheeler. That's when I noticed his hair style and something very identical in his dressing sense. Couldn't be more curious & as I asked to understand that Mr. Don is a fan of Bachchan Sahab! That's when everything fall into place. I met a real Bachchan Sahab fan! It's a pleasure to meet people who are passionate about something, who we see are in love with a style and an identity! Touted as the angry man of the 80s, Mr Bachchan is no less than an ideology in India.

Don Sahab kept open the first two buttons of his sky-blue wrinkle-free shirt & there kept hanging a goggle in between. He wore a white shoe under a grey narrow bottom pant. He dyed his hair black, kept it long and letting it fall over his ears. On his left hand, he flashed a golden color watch. He said that he kept on meeting Bachchan Ji when he comes at Aurangabad. I believed him.

At my destination when I saw him off, I told him that I felt lucky meeting him today. At last minute, I requested a photograph and that's when he asked me to note down his number.. As I dialed, my true caller flashed "Don Khan Aurangabad".. It was a good day :)

Today we visited an old age home - Shanti Bhavan, Mother Teresa Ashram in Nagpur. The realization that there are complicate things happening around us was clearer today. The ashram has around 160 old age and disabled people living there. Ashram is doing great in terms of taking good care of the people. There are people in Nagpur who are visiting to the Ashram in most Sundays just to take care of the people for an hour or two, as for example I met a surgeon today, he told me that he visits here every Sunday to take care of the cleanliness of the oldies. My Experience Today? It was good. There are innocent people who are abandoned from their family. This ashram is taking care of them. I felt real proud in been engaged with such an NGO group and to those who are responsible for my upbringing that I am able to take decision & spend my time here, here with these people. Bring the kid or not

My friend who just gone through a full pregnancy and delivered a cute kid, once quoted me a question, “Rohit, why should I bring a child into this sad & cruel world. I am scared and feel responsible for the kid”. I had no answer then and more so even today I am still in the vague. My god, pregnancy is tough for some people. Ride and the Kalsubai Trek

It was a two-day trip from my stay at Mumbai. I drove in the evening a previous day. Having have rode my meteor a good 2500Kms, It was comparatively adjusting to ride 160km from Mumbai to the area near the peak. I have felt that if the trip is pre-planned, it helps you enrich your experience. There is so much more that we can explore and that does help us save time, energy and some money as well. I write with the same intention. Material carrying is important. Wearing bike accessories is essential for safety. This time while driving in the late hours, I felt that I should also carry items like pepper spray, a mat & torch. I carried a battery back up this time which made me feel safer, so to say.
