Shaurya walks

It's almost dark. The streets are still busy. It's late in the evening. The market is going to be shut. People are tiredly returning from their work, and as well the birds into their pavements. Street lights are on the parade. Shaurya is walking for over half-an-hour now. When he came out of his house, he didn't know where would he go. He just wanted some fresh & open air. He wanted to stretch his veins. He wanted to look at people and be in the mid of crowd, in mid of reality, away from the digital life & his poetry books. He wanted to look at real people, toiling and enjoying themselves in real life, in real sweat. It was an unplanned exit. He is not carrying his cell phone. He is not carrying any cash with him. He is walking freely. This is one true human form. It seems as if he is unafraid of the uncertainties.

This is not a strange city anymore. He swims in the streets. He has done this a number of times. This place is not alien to him anymore. But there are countless sub-streets and he has not explored all of them. So what that he gets lost somewhere? He thinks that he would pass it over at some corner of the city. There are tall buildings filled with so many people. Sometimes it amazes him! They live in different kinds of houses. Some live in just one or two-room apartments, sometimes having an attached balcony, while others have a bigger house, a bungalow. There are also people living in the streets. There are those living on their barrow cart.

Sometimes when he walks, he sings along. It's when he is feeling wholesome, or, may be when the weather is good, or may be when it is raining! He doesn't know much about his mood. It swirls easily.

It's getting darker. The streets are becoming lonelier. Shaurya walks in random directions. Stray dogs are arranging themselves for the longer night. Shaurya walks on rarer and narrower streets, not fearing the dark, not fearing the lonesomeness, not caring about people watching him from behind their curtains. Doesn't the silence worry him? He walks and tries to get familiarize with the new scenes, the new auras, the noises, the street fights, the silent gazes and the smells. It gives him something. He defends himself by showcasing a glow in his face. It's not fake. He walks and walks, for more than an hour, until he is full and satisfied, until he knew that he will be okay to walk back and not regret his time. He balances the distance with his instinct. It's a way how he detox. Shaurya walks... Shaurya loves to walk.
