Should Statesman be religious in public?

Should a political leader, more of the face of the Nation openly showcase his tilts towards a particular religion? India is still a developing nation which is also going to be the most populated one by the coming decade. Because of the dearth of resource availability and immature governance, we are struggling to educate the citizen in terms of quality. In fact, unavailability of research facilities within the nation premises forces a number of students to seek education abroad. And the one remains incapable to move because of the number of constraints like family’s poor economic background etc. they either compromise with the quality of their education by performing their studies in a substandard institute or they have to deviate from their interest. In summary, we don’t have experts and quality of diversity compared to the quantum of our population. Hence we lack judgment and overall we lack critical guidance. If we do, it is short-sighted thus it prone to conflicts. Because a crick...

"Right" Awareness

Should we stop telling the children that one day, when they are going to be old & they will become a superhero or super rich? It is simply the conditioning of the mind and the human brain are good with adaption even at a comparatively higher age. Although more care is needed at the lesser age. But the question is, who will set the bottom line? Before this, do you at all care about this? Is it all sham to you? We all have come across people with ‘their’ kind of ideology, even if they are a follower of some standard version, they deflect little bit from it & form one of theirs. Some kind of remain inside the bubble that they have formed around them, some improvise to be a better version of themselves. Is improvisation necessary when life is so short? Well, why not? Why spend even a single second in a lesser world? But don’t you forget to live your leisure for that one second. Most part of my life, I was under the illusion that I am a special born, that the world revolve...

Societal coexistence

We live in a civil society which refers to a civilized group where diverse kind of people stays. To the finite population, the finite resources have to be made avail so that peace, harmony & sustainable life can be maintained. Human beings are supposed to be the most intelligent creatures on Earth and each one of us are thinking. Generally, the thought process of the people is greatly affected by the environment they are staying in and are a part of. All of us think differently. To us, violence & nonviolence is a different subject. Although in a cosmopolitan society, where people from various environments have come together, coexistence is a challenging task. We are the witness of the digital revolution which has given globalization its truest support in such a short period of time. An idea so spreads that it influences the aspect of living and tries to break the conservatism in a particular society. It is a new kind of culture. There are different strata in a society whi...

Happy Independence Day - 2018

15 August, Nearly all the Indians are vibrating with the enthusiasm that fills us all with the chanting of the words “Independence”, “Freedom”, “ Aazadi ”.  Some 72 years ago, this land which is almost 2% of the world’s total area, got one Identity, the identity of one Nation and the base of democracy were established. We got independence from the British who had been ruling us for almost two centuries. In the period of their ruling, we were turned into a raw material house for the development of Britain. We were robbed out of our available resources, our creativity of craftsmanship and subjugated many people under the chains of landless peasanthood. Overall development of the people stand-stalled. Isn’t it important for all of us to understand why in the first place we came into the hands of these colonialists? Bit by bit how over a period of years our rulers lost their battles and land rights? We never fought together. India of today was no India before. We were a disinte...

Reservation

Truth & non-violence holds greater significance than any other means of propagation through the life of any living being. There had been many pioneers who had proved and provided us the inspiration to remain grounded with these propositions. In India, for the last 7 decades, since the time of independence, we have a policy of reservation. There are certain reserved seats in government jobs & educational institutions for some considered backward castes of India. Our constitution fathers decided to uplift these sections of the society by providing them leverage over the forward castes for a period 10 years. However, because of the political situation in a diverse country like India, we have not been able to get rid of this policy. In fact, now vote bank politics are being played over it & country instead of moving towards a common goal of equal & just society is indeed moving backward. It is quite clear that in India we have formalized various data of the demographi...
